DAIVURJNT Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") built SpectrumScan to help adults understand and manage sensory environments by measuring light, sound, and —if the user chooses— certain personal health metrics such as heart rate variability. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the SpectrumScan app ("App").

2. What We Collect

We collect the following types of information only with your consent:

  • Environment Data: Light levels (lux, flicker, color temperature) and sound levels (decibel, frequency) recorded through your device sensors.
  • Biometric Data (Optional): Heart rate or heart rate variability (HRV) if connected to a smartwatch or wearable and authorized by you.
  • Location Data: General location tags for mapping sensory environments. You can disable location access at any time.
  • Account Information: Your email, password, and optional profile preferences.
  • App Usage Data: How often you use features, to help us improve performance and stability.

We do not record audio, take photos, or collect personally identifying data without your knowledge.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide feedback and insights about your sensory environment.
  • Personalize your app experience and visual reports.
  • Improve app performance and develop new features.
  • Generate anonymous, aggregated data to evaluate sensory accessibility in public spaces.

We do not sell your personal contact information.

We may share aggregated and anonymized data with:

  • Research institutions and partners studying sensory accessibility.
  • Businesses seeking to improve sensory-friendly environments.

We will never share personally identifiable or health-related data without your explicit consent, except when required by law.

5. Data Retention

Your data is stored only as long as necessary to provide the app's functionality. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove your personal data from our servers within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We use encryption and secure cloud storage to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. Use SpectrumScan at your own risk and do not upload sensitive medical or personal information.

7. Your Choices

You can:

  • Turn off permissions for sensors, biometrics, or location.

8. Third-Party Services

If you connect SpectrumScan to Apple Health, Fitbit, or other third-party services, their privacy policies apply to those integrations.

9. For Adults Only

SpectrumScan is intended for adult users (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
